:: SDTA Medal Tests

Scottish Dance Teachers Alliance Medal Tests are a graded exam testing comparable to the Royal Conservatory Exams for piano. There are five sections: Highland, National, Irish Jig, Hornpipe and Graded Exams. They are marked out Fail, Pass, Commended or Highly Commended, or, in the case of Theory: Fail, Pass, Merit and Honours. You will be given written results of encouragement and improvement.

The examiner is sent from the Scottish Dance Teachers Alliance in Scotland each Spring. Candidates are tested and results, medals and certificates are awarded.
